In this two-part series, we take a look at the idea of mystery as it relates to God and our understanding of him. A mystery is not something that is baffling and mysterious but something that is hidden but revealed for our understanding. We learn to know the fullness of God by understanding that sometimes he is hidden and much greater than we can conceive with our human intellect. But it is in the concepts of light and darkness, hidden yet revealed, well-known but incomprehensible that we begin to know the vastness of God. But it is also in this way that we begin to become intimate with the God who comes to us in unconditional and infinite love.
